谷雨是二十四节气之第6个节气，谷雨是“雨生百谷”的意思，此时降水明显增加，田中的秧苗初插、作物新种，最需要雨水的滋润，正所谓“春雨贵如油”。
Grain Rain is the 6th solar term in 24 solar terms. Grain Rain means "rain produces a hundred millet". At this time, the precipitation increases obviously. The seedlings in the field are first planted and new crops are planted, which needs the moisture of rain most. It is called "spring rain is as expensive as oil".
谷雨时节牡丹花开，因此，牡丹也被称为“谷雨花”。
